Certainly! We welcome groups of all sizes. If you are planning a school outing for a group of students, to ensure a seamless experience, we kindly request that you make a group reservation in advance. The museum offers an excellent learning opportunity for organizations, schools, and clubs to explore our exhibits together and enjoy the wonders of the museum.
Do you have any clubs for children?
The Glendale History Club was started by Glendale teachers Jeannae Segura Brown and Andrea Collins in 2023 as a response to a need for children to know that Independence is a special place.
You can support Glendale History Club by purchasing a $5.00 student membership or by becoming a Sponsor or Benefactor Member of the Friends of the NFTM. We also accept donations for the Glendale History Club. Funds help us purchase tickets, costumes, and transportation to historic sites for students in Glendale History Club.
Can I volunteer at the museum?
Absolutely! We value the dedication and support of volunteers who contribute to the success of our museum. If you have a passion for the arts, enjoy engaging with visitors, or possess specific skills that can benefit our operations, we encourage you to apply for a volunteer position. Our museum is open to visitors throughout the year.
